After the global success of "I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy", Swims turns his gaze inwards. UGLY was written over a transformative period of eighteen months and confronts the sides of himself that are hardest to face. Along the way, he breaks with old patterns, questions ingrained beliefs, and examines the narratives we create about who we believe we should be.
At its core, UGLY challenges the notion of what it means to heal. Personal development is not about beautifying the struggle or finding an easy way through it.
