PUMP UP THE VOLUME Soundtrack Vinyl

This is the first official vinyl pressing since the soundtrack’s original release for the 1990 film. The cult classic soundtrack is a definitive slice of late 80s and early 90s alternative rock showcasing a mix of established artists as well as more underground acts which served as a launch pad to a decade of incredible alternative rock.

Additionally, this is the first official vinyl pressing to include the bonus track, “Tale O’ the Twister” performed by Chagall Guevara which was previously only available on the CD and Cassette releases.
 
The music, of course, is central to the movie's plot about a pirate radio DJ (Christian Slater) broadcasting from his parents’ basement in Phoenix, AZ who finds an outlet to exercise his teenage angst and speak out against hypocrisies and injustices in society. “Talk Hard!”
