PEARL JAM - Ten Live Vinyl

Celebrating the 35th anniversary of Ten, Pearl Jam present Ten Live, a historic performance of their landmark debut album released on vinyl for the very first time. Recorded on April 29, 2016 at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center, the album captures a remarkable night when Pearl Jam performed Ten in its entirety, from “Once” through “Release.”

The performance came during Pearl Jam’s tenth sold-out concert in South Philadelphia. After the venue commemorated the achievement with a special “Pearl Jam 10 South Philadelphia Sellouts” banner, Eddie Vedder decided to mark the occasion in another way: by playing the album that started it all from beginning to end. It was only the second time in the band’s history that they had performed Ten in full, following a 1992 concert in Munich, and the first time they had ever done so in the United States.

Originally released in 1991, Ten transformed Pearl Jam from a newly formed Seattle band into one of the defining rock acts of their generation, with songs including “Alive,” “Even Flow,” “Jeremy” and “Black” becoming enduring cornerstones of their catalogue.

The performance has been remixed by Pearl Jam engineer and producer Josh Evans, with mastering and lacquer cutting handled by Levi Seitz at Black Belt Mastering.
