'A Necessary Escape – Dakar Chronicles (Original Soundtrack)' marks M83's fourth original soundtrack, this time composed for the documentary film 'Dakar: Race Against The Desert', directed by Jalil Lespert. The album was recorded in both France and the U.S. by M83's Anthony Gonzalez, alongside longtime collaborators Joe Berry and Clément Libes.
