GORILLAZ - Plastic Beach Half-Speed Mastered Edition Vinyl

Five years after the release of Demon Days, Gorillaz returned in 2010 with their critically acclaimed third studio album, Plastic Beach. The album's 16 tracks feature an impressive selection of guests, including Bashy, Bobby Womack, De La Soul, Gruff Rhys, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Kano, Little Dragon, Lou Reed, Mark E Smith, Mick Jones, Mos Def, The National Orchestra For Arabic Music, Paul Simonon, Sinfonia ViVA and Snoop Dogg.

Damon Albarn's "ingenious... kaleidoscopic musical ambitions," as The Guardian described them, once again challenged expectations for Gorillaz' sound, resulting in the band's most pop-oriented album to date with singles such as "Stylo," "Superfast Jellyfish," and "On Melancholy Hill."

During the recordings, Murdoc Niccals, Russel Hobbs, 2D, and Noodle settled in one of the planet's most desolate locations: Plastic Beach HQ – a secret, floating island deep in the South Pacific, created from waste, wreckage, and other remnants of humanity.

The album is now available in a limited LP edition on blue, green, and orange vinyl, half-speed mastered for optimal sound quality.

Each vinyl record is pressed individually by hand, making each copy unique. Color mixtures and patterns will therefore vary.
